SKB STYROTERM is an advanced roller shutter solution designed to enhance building energy efficiency. Research conducted by the IFT Rosenheim institute demonstrated an exceptionally low thermal transmittance coefficient — from 0.29 W/m²K — placing the product among the leaders in its category.
Installation involves direct fixing of the box to the window frame via adapter profiles compatible with approximately 90% of market profiles. The system is fully insulated and remains visually inconspicuous on the building facade.
The box is manufactured from a specially developed material with outstanding thermal properties. Available in two sizes: 260×260 mm and 300×300 mm. Rapid clip-and-install or insert-type mounting is suitable for both new construction and window replacement.
The system supports steel reinforcements (fixed brackets) for larger sizes — with insulated hardware that does not compromise shutter functionality. One or more curtains can be accommodated in a single box. Optional insect screens are installed using click technology. The external inspection cover uses a push-in aluminium profile with RAL colour matching.
