Innovative two-in-one solution — shutter and screen in a single 180×260 mm box
The innovation of the SkyTwin system lies in the integration of an external roller shutter and a screen into a single product — a revolutionary technological solution in the market.
The product has been developed with energy-efficient construction in mind, so its design is fully adapted for recessed installation. The system is ideally suited to new buildings, or to existing buildings after the necessary modifications to the lintel. Brackets are available in several sizes to accommodate any cladding material.
The core element of the solution is an aluminium box measuring 180×260 mm made from bent aluminium sheet, housing two round shafts. The SkyTwin technology is available in SkyRoll ZIP and SkyRoll Classic screen versions. ZIP technology provides maximum sealing and insect protection.
The shutter curtain is manufactured from aluminium profiles with polyurethane foam, PVC profiles PT37 or extruded PE41. Aluprof offers a collection of specialist screen fabrics from Copaco and Serge Ferrari — resistant to use, deformation, tearing and weathering.
Closing the roller shutter and screen simultaneously can reduce heat loss through the window by up to 35% (according to research by Kraków University of Technology in collaboration with Aluprof).
